I'm Elliana Jacqueline Buhagiar, a 5ft 6in, 16-year-old (DOB: August 31st, 2009) female golfer from Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.

I am excited to announce that I have made a verbal commitment to play NCAA D1 golf and pursue my academics at Jacksonville State University in Alabama, USA, beginning in 2027. Thank you to Coach Robbie Fields and the Women's Golf Team.

My golf journey started at a summer camp, igniting a love for the sport that has grown over time.
​
Supported by a dedicated team, including my swing coach, fitness coach, chiropractor, and sports psychologist, I continuously work to improve my game. I'm also proud to be supported by renowned companies like Callaway Golf Canada and PING Canada, and I'm grateful to be a sponsored junior member at Coppinwood Golf Club, one of Canada's premier courses with exceptional practice areas.

I am a dual citizen of Canada and Malta and I'm proud to represent the country of Malta on its National Women's Golf Team, allowing me the opportunity to also play and compete in Europe. Playing for a national team has also given me the opportunity to compete in team golf tournaments, which I absolutely love and believe will serve me well in college golf. As well, I have traveled alone and stayed with host families on a number of occasions, which has given me the courage and comfort to be away from home, which I also think will help me make an easier transition into college life.

I have also had the opportunity to play in several professional events at a young age.
 
Since the age of two, I've worn hearing aids in both ears, but it has never held me back. In fact, it has fueled my determination to excel and inspire others facing similar challenges.
 
I'm excited about the future and ready to make my mark in the world of golf and business.
